ABOUT US

The Counseling and Wellness Center of West Milford

The Counseling and Wellness Center of West Milford and it's therapists, offer counseling services to adults, families, and children struggling with a variety of life's stressors. We believe that there are many paths to health and wholeness and that each of us has the ability, the internal resources, and the resiliency, to transform, grow, and change. We offer these services through on-line therapy as well as through in-home services. In-home services are provided through the Partnership for Children Program, and are dedicated to children and their families who are in crisis.

“The events in our lives happen in a sequence of time, but In their significance to ourselves they find their own order.”  - Eudora Welty, Writer

Trauma, separations, loss, transitions, early childhood wounds, all leave their indelible mark on
our souls and spirits. We often respond to these crisis perhaps feeling lost ourselves, succumbing
to feelings such as anxiety and depression, isolation, uncertainty, relationship difficulties, and
unresolved anger… feeling perhaps, victims of our circumstance. Recovery begins when we can
take from our fate and find in it the raw material to step out into our own life and live it with
passion, meaning and purpose.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in private practice for twenty years. As I have evolved, so
has my practice. Originally focusing on children and families, as time has gone on, my work has
expanded to include adults as well. We were all children once and often times we come to a stage
in our lives that what worked once, no longer does.

My view of healing includes both traditional and alternative methods with certifications in
Anxiety. Child Sexual Abuse, Adoption, and Hypnotherapy. I have worked extensively with
individuals suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, and those who seek to find themselves
again, or for the first time.
